Bagos Cheese. Milk salt rennet saffron. It is produced in Bagolino a medieval village surrounded by the Alpine Mounts in the province of Brescia.
During the milling the cheesemaker adds saffron. The cows are fed with the local hay. Our unique pizza sauce topped with 100 grated mozzarella.
It is made with raw milk of the vacca bruna alpina a local cow breed of the Alpes area.
Extra-aged Bagòss is also excellent as grated cheese. Bagoss is a semi-fat extra-hard cheese. By way of an example at Harrods in London its selling price is around 50 GBP. The Bagòss is produced by only 28 small companies from the milk of the brown cow.
